I’ve decided to make a few changes to the product lineup to make things simpler for my customers and more options available without restrictions.
The new name for the dual and deluxe units will be the “DCCDPro Universal Controller” Or “DCCDPro UNI” for short.
This will be a base unit that can be optioned up with any combination of features available now or in the future.
For example, now you can option up the base unit with either STi switches, or with the STi cluster interface or both.
This should allow for more choice and hopefully lower prices overall as you are only paying for the options you need.
Product serialization will change as of Jan 1 to coincide with the new terminology as well. (Dual and Deluxe as separate products have been retired.)
Future “options” for the UNI will include user “tuning” and feature selections via RS232 or USB. As well as g-sensor calibration via RS232 or USB. This will allow the g-sensor to be “zero’d out” so it can be mounted at a less than optimally “level” state.
These are the next major features on my development schedule. Release date is not known yet.
The original manual controller is also still available, as long as there is sill some demand for them I’ve decided to keep producing them.
Thanks for all your support in 2009!
Looking forward to major advancements in 2010!
Kind regards,
-Jeff Reid

Hey Everyone! Very exciting news, I had a huge breakthrough in programming today!
Some code improvements I made over the last 24 hours have had a massive improvement in program execution & speed.
I’m still considering the implications of all that I can do with this over the next few weeks. Hopefully after some more testing I’ll be able to make an announcement.
Sorry to be so cryptic, more news to follow as I feel I can release it.

Starting today and continuing until the end of the year there will be Free UPS shipping on all orders!
This is a huge discount, especially for my overseas customers where shipping can be upwards of $80!

Sorry but I’ve had to stop the coupon codes for the time being. That module seems to have been broken by a recent update. No problem though, just contact me after ordering and tell me to apply your coupon and I’ll refund the percentage via paypal.

Today is the first day for official vendor status on Nasioc.
I set everything up with them in the last 2 weeks and everything is a go as of Nov 1, 09.
My user name there will now be “DCCDPro”, my “Spiider” user name will still be valid and checked occasionally for messages bu I will try to encourage people to use the new user name for communications due to the larger message box.
Now I will be able to more directly answer your sales related questions and post links to products or information there.
Thanks for everyone’s support the last 2 years in making it possible to finally become a registered vendor there!
